General Information

Pets

One well-behaved dog will be welcome at our discretion in our Kyle room.  However, we cannot accept a dog into the Shin Falls room or the guest lounge or dining area.

Ponds

Woodburn Lodge has a large duck pond and you are more than welcome to come and view our Muscovy ducks.  However, the responsibility of the safety of young children lies fully with their parents.

Children

Children are welcome at Woodburn Lodge.  We give discounts to groups of people or families that book rooms together for more than one night.

Special Occasions

If you have a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary, honeymoon or any other we can assist you to make that day even more special.

Evening Meals

We do not provide evening meals but there are lots of places you can eat out.  Please do not hesitate to ask and check our notices.

The Achness Hotel (around 5-10min drive) is our local pub.  It provides lunches and evening meals at very reasonable prices.  This is the closest restaurant/pub to us.  They also do a takeaway menu.

Outside

Guests are welcome to walk around our grounds and sit outside on the patio or wander down to see our Muscovy ducks, which are generally found around the pond.  Tables and chairs are available outside for you to use.  Please note guest walk around the grounds at their own risk.

Free Wifi

Free Wifi is available however guest should be aware that the signal is very weak especially at peak times.  Mobile signals, however, are very strong and we recommend surfing the net using your phone.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside Woodburn Lodge you may, however, smoke on the grounds.  Please ensure all cigarettes are extinguished and disposed of in the correct manner.

Booking Terms and Conditions

A deposit of £30 per room is required. This deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to re-let the room. The full balance is required on your arrival.  We accept cash, cheques or payments by bank transfer.  We do not accept cards at present. When you make your booking and we have received the required deposit to secure the booking, a legally binding contract exists between us.  Rooms must be vacated by 10.00 am and arrivals no earlier than 4.oo pm.  If rooms are cancelled on the day after 12.00pm payment will be taken for that night.
